Returning to Work After Caring Consultation Response (GEO)

The Government Equalities Office launched a consultation on August 2017 to find out about the experiences of people who want to return to work and the barriers that they face and the support available to them. They also wanted to hear from employers during the consultation. MWNUK responded and highlighted the barriers which hinder Muslim and BME women from returning to work after taking time out caring, which included child care issues and the financial viability. We also highlighted the need for training and more flexible working hours. Our report can be downloaded above. |
