MWNUK Consultation on Support for Victims of Domestic Abuse in the Workplace
Muslim Women's Network UK have submitted a written response to The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Consultation on support for victims of domestic abuse in the workplace. In our submission we have asked BEIS to grant paid and unpaid leave for victims of domestic abuse. We have also asked for domestic abuse champions to be appointed in all workplaces, as well as regular training to be provided on all forms of abuse, including forced marriage. Support in the workplace is absolutely critical to protect and empower victims of abuse.
