Promoting Role Models

MWNUK has recognized that Muslim women of all ages may face multiple barriers due to their ethnicity, gender, faith and dress. They also may face internal barriers within their communities due to culture. This means they do not always achieve their full potential. However, there are many positive examples of Muslim women who have excelled in various fields of work and leadership; in history and today.

Therefore, we have produced the following resources which challenge the negative stereotypes of Muslim women, and inspire Muslim women to achieve their highest potential in whatever they may choose, by highlighting Muslim female role models from diverse sectors.

For further information on each resource see below. If you would like to borrow any of these resources for an event, please e-mail: contact@mwnuk.co.uk or telephone 0121 236 9000.
