One eight year old Muslim girl, Aaliyah Gohir who is based in Birmingham, UK, decided to also join in on the face veil debate.  She wrote her debut blog, 'The face veil - what children think.' She wanted her views printed in a national newspaper.  Her mother, Shaista Gohir, Executive Director of the Muslim Women\'s Network UK, told her that this was not possible so instead set her up with her own wordpress blog, www.aaliyahgohir.wordpress.com
